Shoden - First Teachings

This is a 2 day course that introduces you to the system of Reiki enabling you to use it for self-healing and personal development.

Level 2
Okuden - Inner Teachings

This is a 2 day course that enhances your connection to Reiki enabling you to establish your own practice and give professional treatments to clients.

Reiki Master
Shinpinden - Mystery Teachings

The Master Level course provides you with the relevant theoretical and practical knowledge so that you may teach and attune others to Reiki.

Course information

Time intervals – please read: it is advisable to leave sufficient time in between each Reiki course to allow for integration of mind, body and spirit following energetic attunements. This will vary and be dependent upon the individual. Contact Sparqe to discuss before booking Reiki 2 and Master Level courses.

Level 1

Shoden – First Teachings

‍This is a 2 day course that introduces you to the system of Reiki. The course enables you to use Reiki for self-healing and personal development. You may also like to share Reiki with family, friends and pets if you wish. Level 1 introduces and attunes you to 2 of the 5 Reiki symbols; use of the symbols will support your personal development.

Okuden - Inner Teachings

Level 2 is also known as the practitioner level and enables you to establish your own Reiki practice and give professional treatments to clients. This course introduces and attunes you to 3 of the 5 Reiki symbols. Use of the symbols will support your personal development and take you further along your spiritual path.

Reiki Master

Shinpinden – Mystery Teachings

‍‍The Master Level course provides you with the relevant theoretical and practical knowledge so that you may, should you wish, teach and attune others to Reiki. Whether you undertake the Master Level course for teaching or personal purposes, you further your commitment to Reiki as a spiritual practice to support your healing and development. This course introduces you to the remaining two Reiki Master symbols. As with Reiki Level 2, use of the symbols will support your personal development and take you further along your spiritual path.

Do I need any prior knowledge before booking onto a Reiki course?

You do not need any prior knowledge before booking onto a Reiki Level 1 course. For Reiki Level 2 and Master courses, it is a pre-requisite to have completed each prior level before booking. It is also advisable to leave sufficient time in between completing each course. This will depend upon the individual. Please contact Sparqe for an informal discussion on time intervals that are suitable for you.

What will be provided on the course?

You will be provided with a comprehensive course booklet at each level. Prior to attending, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire to discover your individual needs – course content will be tailored according to your responses. A vegetarian or vegan lunch will also be offered on the day. Following each course, you will be provided with a certificate detailing your Reiki lineage as well as ongoing support and advice for professional development.

When can I start practicing Reiki on other people or animals?

The Reiki Level 1 course focuses primarily upon self-healing. At this stage you may also offer Reiki to family, friends and pets if you wish. Upon completion of Reiki Level 2, you will be certified to practice Reiki professionally and give treatments to clients. When certified as a Reiki Master you will then be able to teach and attune others to Reiki.

What is a Reiki attunement?

When you learn Reiki you receive a Reiki attunement. An attunement is sometimes referred to as an initiation. There are different attunements for each level of Reiki. Following each level, you become more connected to yourself and Reiki energy.

Attunements promote spiritual, emotional and physical healing. Reiki attunements are completely safe. Your initiation into Reiki may be: life-changing; deeply peaceful and relaxing; an experience where you feel energised; an experience where you feel more deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.

Is there a 21-day optional e-course available at Reiki 2 and Master levels?

The optional e-course is only available to those who complete Reiki Level 1. Following study of this course, you will enter into a 21-day clearing process. The e-course supports students to understand the emotional, mental and physical changes that may take place during this period. These 21 days are vital in assisting your body, your subtle bodies and electromagnetic field to integrate this new, powerful Reiki energy stream into your being.  As a result of an increase in your vibratory rate along with an expansion and amplification of each chakra centre, positive changes will occur.
